About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at The Curve Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the Procurement and Contract Management Teams, ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Supplier Management: Oversee the delivery of the Procurement & Supplier Management Committee, ensuring that supplier contracts balance cost reduction, value engineering, and risk management for the Group.
  • Annual Sourcing Activity Program: Manage the annual sourcing activity program, including central expense and savings reporting, to ensure that the Procurement team is meeting its objectives.
  • Sourcing Activities: Supervise all sourcing activities within the team's scope, including SSJ and direct negotiation activities, with responsibility for some major RFP contracts.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure that end-to-end policies, sourcing limits, procedures, and control frameworks are in place, regularly reviewed, and optimized to support the business's strategic aims.
  • Engagement and Governance: Lead engagement with central and UK territory counterparts to ensure best practices and adherence to Group Norms, and manage the Essential and Sensitive Suppliers list, the TPRM process, regulatory changes, and associated governance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations within the designated area of responsibility, embedding compliance within the business.
  • Health and Safety: Take personal responsibility for health and safety while at work, ensuring the safety of oneself and others.
  • Professional Development: Participate in necessary training to enhance professional development and expertise.

  • Industry Developments: Stay informed about industry-wide developments and standards.
