We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our senior leadership team as the Head of Employee Services. This is a senior role within the People and OD directorate, providing strategic and operational leadership to Recruitment and Workforce Systems Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership to Recruitment and Workforce Systems Teams.
- Set the strategic direction for recruitment and workforce systems in alignment with local and national strategy and best practice.
- Lead and manage high-performing Recruitment and Workforce Systems Teams, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators and positive relations with employees and managers.
- Complete regular audits on quality and compliance with legislation, regulations, and local policies.
- Produce reports for various internal and external stakeholders and provide assurances to board and sub-board level committees.
- Master's degree level or equivalent experience.
- CIPD membership or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable evidence of recent continuing professional development.
- Experience of managing and leading teams.
- Experience of leading service improvement.
- Experience of completing audits and learning from outcomes.
- Experience of setting strategic direction for recruitment and/or workforce systems.
- Experience of establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
