About this Role

Software testing is crucial for organizations to guarantee that their IT delivery meets high standards. Consequently, it is one of the most sought-after roles in technology today.

  • You will assess and interpret requirements, develop test strategies, and execute test scenarios to ensure the needs of end-users are fulfilled.
  • You will identify and analyze system flaws and collaborate to rectify these issues.
  • You will produce and maintain testing documentation, ensuring effective tracking of product quality.
  • You will engage with business analysts and developers to provide insights, troubleshoot, resolve defects, and participate in code evaluations.
  • You will continuously enhance your technical expertise in the environments you operate in, becoming a subject matter expert that the organization relies on for critical business decisions.
  • You will keep abreast of trends and developments in the tech industry, consistently learning new testing methodologies and strategies.

To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate a foundational ability in SQL or a similar language. A passion for technology and a desire to learn programming at an advanced level are essential.

As a national organization with clients throughout the UK, we require all candidates to have the flexibility and willingness to relocate post-training for deployment to client sites. Remote working cannot be guaranteed. You must have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of your contract with Sparta Global (British or Irish Citizenship, EU Settled Status, or Permanent Visa Holder). We do not offer visa sponsorships or accept Graduate or PSW Visas due to time limitations.
