Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test software programs to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and contribute to system and subsystem requirements specifications and design definitions.
• Create detailed software design specifications, storyboards, and interface specifications to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Provide expert support for products from conception through to delivery, including problem-solving and defect maintenance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, manuals, procedures, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Develop and deliver training programs and provide guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience or a combination of both.

Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in software engineering with a strong track record of specification, design, and development.
• Demonstrable experience in defining test plans and test data requirements.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex issues.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and implementation, as well as software design patterns.
• Ability to contribute to the development of application architecture and maintain and improve coding standards.
• Experience with software best practices such as automated testing, continuous integration, test-driven development, SOLID, and clean code principles.
• Scrum or Kanban experience in Agile teams.
• Proficiency in GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Conan.
• Experience using DOORS, TestRail, and Jira.
• Ability to work with test teams to optimize application performance.

Personal Qualities:
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
• Diligent with attention to detail and able to problem-solve and find effective resolutions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiatives and under pressure.

C++ Development Experience:
• Proficient in modern C++ (minimum 11, ideally 14 and later).
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications.
• Experience in debugging on target hardware.
• Strong understanding of Linux and platform development.
