Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality customer-centric service to residents on your patch.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Resident Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their needs are met and their tenancy experience is exceptional.
  2. Void Management: Minimize voids by efficiently managing the lettings process and ensuring properties are ready for new tenants.
  3. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Investigation: Investigate and address ASB incidents, including attending court proceedings as necessary.
  4. Arrears Recovery: Enforce arrears recovery policies to ensure timely payment from tenants.
  5. Estate Inspections: Conduct regular estate inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in housing management, including ASB, estate services contract monitoring, and a solid understanding of Landlord, Leasehold, and Tenant legislation.

Additional Requirements:

You must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
