Job Title: Commercial Account Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join our client's successful Corporate division. As part of their fast-paced and collaborative team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective servicing of client accounts from a client advisory perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and Coordinate Insurance Documents: Develop and manage insurance documents for new customers, including policy summaries and renewal quotes.
  • Manage Insurer Queries: Coordinate with insurers to resolve customer queries, confirm cover, and process policies.
  • Record and Maintain Customer Details: Accurately record and update customer information on our system, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Deal with Account Queries and Credit Control: Address customer inquiries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers in a timely manner.
  • Apply Legal and Regulatory Policies: Grasp and apply fundamental legal and regulatory policies for internal policies and the insurance contract as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Essential experience working as an Account Handler within the commercial insurance market.
  • Knowledge and Qualifications: Knowledge of cross-class risks, such as Hospitality & Leisure, Manufacturing, Property, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, D&O, Motor Trade/Fleet is ideal. Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII would be an advantage.
  • Education and Eligibility: Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with an intermediate knowledge of the commercial insurance industry. Eligible to work in the UK.
