Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pizzaiolo to join our team at Rudy's Newcastle. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook pizzas to order, using traditional Neapolitan techniques and high-quality ingredients.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and safe working area.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and ingredients, making recommendations to customers as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Neapolitan pizza-making techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
