We are excited to be working with an innovative technology company based in the UK who are recruiting for a Compliance Engineer to join their team.
Job Purpose: To provide implementation and management of an effective legal compliance program, focusing on global safety standards and directives relating to machinery equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the company expert, resolving employee concerns and educating the team on the latest regulations and associated design philosophies.
- Provide guidance on health and safety, especially in relation to electronics and electrical installations.
- Research information and self-learn to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Understand and apply machinery directives.
- Develop and maintain professional documents, including PAT and FLASH (Hi-pot) testing and general electrics.
Requirements:
- Experience in health and safety, particularly in electronics and electrical installations.
- Ability to understand schematic diagrams and electronic component functions.
- Strong research and self-learning skills.
- Understanding of machinery directives.
- Proficiency in professional document writing, PAT and FLASH (Hi-pot) testing, and general electrics.
