Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Homeless Assessment and Move on Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a shelter as an accommodation, assessment, and support service for individuals experiencing rough sleeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify support needs and opportunities for move-on options.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to achieve successful move-ons within a targeted timescale.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a holistic service, addressing the complex needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Empower individuals to take control of their lives, making positive changes and addressing their needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, delivering good outcomes in a busy work environment.
  • Sound understanding of the issues faced by people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.
  • Proven ability to empower individuals to make positive changes and support people to address their needs.
