Procurement Administrator Job Description

Join Seven Search & Selection Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, in our search for a skilled Procurement Administrator to support our client's foodservice organisation.

About the Role:

  • Manage a designated food category, sourcing and negotiating a range that meets the strategic plan and delivers targeted sales and profit.
  • Develop and deliver innovative ideas that exceed customer expectations and grow market share.
  • Drive cost savings through category management and develop good category knowledge and overview.

Requirements:

  • Currently working as a food buyer or assistant buyer within food retail, foodservice, or food wholesale within the UK.
  • Demonstrate a passion for buying and a flair for commerciality, with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders.
  • Good insight and data analysis skills, with the ability to action opportunities to drive profit.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to work independently on your own initiative.

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to £45k plus bonus benefits.
  • Role split between the office in central London (3 days) and home (2 days).
