Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of stock within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
  • Operate material handling equipment (MHE) and manual handling techniques to move stock around the facility
  • Ensure all safety standards are met and reported to supervisors immediately
  • Pick and pack materials in accordance with customer requirements, maintaining quality standards at all times
  • Adhere to processes to ensure accurate output and customer satisfaction
  • Work efficiently and safely at all times, operating machinery as required
  • Report any safety issues or equipment defects to supervisors
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with business requirements
  • Assist with 5S and general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate a guillotine when trained and required
  • Cover other roles within the warehouse as needed
  • Assist with the annual stock take and complete necessary paperwork
  • Conduct hardness and conductivity testing when required
  • Conduct XFR testing when required

Requirements

  • GCSE qualifications
  • Counterbalance/reach forklift license
  • Previous warehouse experience

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry
