Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Assistant Practitioner and Room Leader to join our team at Hedgehog Recruitment. As a key member of our early years team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our young children, while also leading and supporting a team of nursery staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging educational programs that meet the needs of all children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the early years team to ensure seamless communication and a high-quality service.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in early years education and childcare.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be part of a dynamic team.
