Position Summary:
As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store functions. You will be entrusted with various responsibilities to ensure that the store meets its performance indicators. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact, inspiring the team to enhance sales, deliver outstanding customer service, exceed performance targets, and uphold the company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement
- Guarantee that customers receive attentive and professional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Address inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a consistent standard of appearance and professionalism among team members.
- Participate in customer service evaluation initiatives.
Sales Performance
- Strive to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Effectively interpret relevant Oracle reports.
- Encourage team members to leverage in-store technology for optimal performance.
- Confidently analyze Footfall, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Conversion rates using the store’s dashboard.
Visual Presentation
- Employ visual merchandising techniques to attract and engage customers.
- Implement the weekly merchandising brief effectively within the store.
- Ensure accurate pricing, adjustments, and point-of-sale displays.
- Maintain clean and organized product displays.
Training and Development
- Support the development of internal staff and facilitate career advancement.
- Monitor training progress through relevant assessments.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and staff training processes.
- Prioritize management development through the Trainee Management Academy.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in Retail Management.
- Strong time management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
