Job Overview

Recruit Central Limited is seeking a Technical Support Representative to join our Product Support team. This role is essential in providing the distribution team with vital customer insights that must be addressed to promote distributor product support growth through effective service capabilities and operational efficiency across various market segments. You will serve as the primary contact for managing customer issues from a Product Support perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving needs and challenges within the assigned territory.
  • Establish and meet performance expectations; deliver results, propose alternative actions, and make timely decisions.
  • Advise on strategies to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Implement decisions to support and develop product sales, improve dealer effectiveness, foster overall segment growth, and enhance warranty policies.
  • Manage OEM Product Support accounts.
  • Oversee Distributor Product Support accounts.
  • Handle Dealer Product Support accounts.
  • Lead customer issue resolution efforts.
  • Manage warranty adjudication processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in service account management, preferably in off-highway sectors.
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of engine product offerings.

Additionally, candidates may have acquired the following skills and experience:

  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Participation in project management.
  • Conflict management skills.
  • Commercial experience.
  • Prior high-level customer interaction.
  • Commitment to the role with a proven ability to follow through on significant account progress.
