NMS Recruit Ltd is on the lookout for skilled Audio Visual Systems Technicians with a solid background in 100v line systems to join a premier organization in the Audio Visual Retail and Hospitality sector.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional installation and service support in various locations, ensuring that all operational guidelines are meticulously followed for both system setups and maintenance tasks, while meeting the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities

- Independently perform audio system installations and service calls based on detailed plans and specific work instructions, or collaborate as part of a two-person team with another engineer or subcontractor.

- Promptly communicate with the Operations team or Project Manager regarding any challenges encountered on-site.

- Adhere to client protocols when visiting sites, including proper check-in and check-out procedures.

- Conduct thorough fault diagnosis of audio and audio-visual systems, providing accurate reports and recommendations to the technical team if issues cannot be resolved on-site.

- Obtain necessary authorization from the technical support team to extend on-site service if required.

- Occasionally take the lead on installations on behalf of the Project Manager.

- Ensure complete and precise documentation, including plan updates and timely submission of paperwork to the office.

- Assist fellow engineers in the field, such as delivering equipment to job sites.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels of essential equipment in the company vehicle.

- Complete necessary health and safety documentation accurately.


Required Experience

- A minimum of 2-3 years in an audio visual installation or service role with exposure to 100v line systems.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Physically capable of handling equipment installation, including navigating parking restrictions that may require carrying equipment by hand.

- Comfortable working at heights.

- Valid driving license, ideally held for over five years.

- Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed, often at short notice.

- Experience in construction environments.

- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and cutting equipment.

- CSCS/ECS Card and Asbestos Awareness certification preferred, though training will be provided.

- IPAF/PASMA and Working at Height qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be offered.

- Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet client needs, which may include early morning or late evening shifts.
