We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microbiology Team Leader to join our team at GSK. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of Microbiologists who perform analysis and identification of samples and environmental monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data accuracy and quality according to company, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Verify the quality and accuracy of results for materials to meet pre-defined acceptance criteria
  • Ensure team structure and training are sufficient to perform critical activities
  • Responsible for assigned laboratory equipment and instrumentation or 5S standards
  • Take a lead role in Continuous Improvement and support the Microbial Specialist with validation activities
  • Responsible for the safety of self and staff within the laboratory
  • Troubleshoot activities and issues
  • Work across boundaries with key production stakeholders

About You:

We are looking for a motivated individual with strong experience working in a GMP environment. You should have strong people skills, a proven ability to work in a team, and good report writing skills. You should also have proven expertise in product flow and trouble-shooting with a strong quality mindset.
