The company is a market leader in the roasting and supply of coffee, with a strong entrepreneurial and ambitious leadership team driving growth and expansion.

About the Role

The Finance Business Partner will play an integral role in supporting the future success of the organisation. You will work closely with the operational and commercial teams, providing them with financial insight that will support their decision making and drive business performance. The role will be extremely varied with responsibilities to include:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the optimisation of a newly implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Take a lead role in creating insightful information and change management to improve business performance.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyse financial and business data to assess and challenge performance, and to assist management decision making.
  • Standard Costing and Process Development: Evolve and embed recently implemented standard costing methodology, throughout the organisation.
  • Commercial Pricing and Forecasting: Support Sales and Operations teams, in new business development and commercial pricing, planning and forecasting.
  • Factory Performance Analysis: Provide analysis of factory performance and recommend improvements.
  • Process Development and Improvement: Lead in process development and working with management to drive meaningful insights and control to support and influence business performance.
  • Project Management: Support, drive, and lead projects as required to deliver business improvement including Finance led initiatives through to providing finance support to operational or customer facing projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Natural Inquisitiveness: A naturally inquisitive mindset with a desire to ask why and make things happen.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: An analytically minded individual with the ability to turn data into insight and action.
  • Process Manufacturing Experience: Experience and understanding of process manufacturing and standard costing methodology.
  • ERP and Reporting Systems: Good knowledge and experience of ERP & reporting systems. MS Dynamics & Power BI experience is desired but not essential.
  • Professional Qualifications: Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
