Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a Major Gifts strategy to increase income and meet ambitious funding targets.
  • Lead on a departmental strategy for generating a pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and major gifts prospects.
  • Manage a team of Relationship Managers to ensure they are engaged, delivering agreed strategies, and meeting agreed financial targets.
  • Oversee all relevant fundraising activities, including research and analysis of current and potential prospects.
  • Ensure the team maintains accurate records of relationships with major donors on our database.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Significant experience of fundraising from generous individuals and trusts.
  • Demonstrable experience in building effective long-term relationships and influencing with Major Donors.
  • Significant management experience leading a successful team to meet agreed targets and working at a strategic level.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training skills.
What We Offer:
  • Salary: Specialist £53,500 per annum.
  • Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year and 8 paid public holidays per year.
  • Pension Scheme: Non-contributory (10% of salary).
