We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Channel Account Manager. In this role, you will focus on acquiring new accounts and fostering growth while managing an established customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct forecast reporting and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Assist the Sales Support team with quotes and order processing.
  • Support the management of existing leads, prospects, and accounts.
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and account growth.

As a Channel Account Manager, you will execute the company's sales strategies and strive to meet established sales quotas by identifying business opportunities through effective account prospecting and profiling.

Your role will involve thoroughly assessing customer needs and presenting tailored sales solutions that highlight the technological and business advantages of our products.

You will be responsible for delivering impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, which may include hosting visits to our company facilities when necessary. Additionally, you will prepare the necessary sales order documentation to ensure that purchase orders accurately reflect the required configurations and solutions for our customers.

Manage the order process in accordance with established internal acceptance procedures to secure sign-off from relevant departments.

Provide the sales management team with timely and accurate reports on activities, including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, the status of the sales pipeline, and results from prospecting efforts.

Develop account mapping strategies to navigate existing company accounts and potential customers, ensuring alignment with key decision-makers.

Regularly update the company's sales database with account activity and status.

Cross-sell products and services to enhance revenue generation from reseller and new accounts.

Prepare ad hoc reports and undertake assigned projects as required.

Stay informed about legal, cultural, and economic conditions that may impact the company's operations within your specific sectors, and keep the Director of Sales and Marketing updated.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B channel account management and business development within the ICT sales sector.
  • Willingness to work in a semi-rural environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including the potential for extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel as required.
