Mental Health Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit. As a key member of our inpatient Occupational Therapy Team, you will work closely with patients to provide a range of Occupational Therapy Assessments and interventions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to develop their skills and knowledge in MOHO based assessments and Occupational Therapy interventions. You will be supported by a dedicated team and have the opportunity to work with patients to support their transition back into the community.
About the RoleAs a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high quality treatment programmes that support the recovery of working age males detained under both criminal and civil sections of the Mental Health Act. You will work closely with patients to identify their goals and develop a personalized plan to support their recovery.
You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills by working with others to support patients' recovery journey. This may involve delegating tasks to the Occupational Therapy Assistant and other members of the team to build and enhance others' skills and confidence.
