About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in mental health occupational therapy. You will be working with patients who experience enduring mental health problems, acute mental illness, and may present with behavioral expression of distress.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality treatment programs that support recovery of working-age males detained under both criminal and civil sections of the Mental Health Act.
- Show leadership skills by working with others to support patients' recovery journey through delegating tasks to the Occupational Therapy Assistant and other members of the team.
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide a range of occupational therapy assessments and interventions with patients.
- Develop and enhance your skills through our well-established in-service training program.
