As a Divisional Sales Manager at Liberty, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Key accountabilities include:
- Planning and implementing departmental rota to ensure sufficient cover during peak trade
- Conducting monthly one-to-one reviews with team members, setting and following up on objectives and targets
- Addressing performance issues in a timely manner and providing regular coaching to enhance performance
- Holding daily team briefs to engage and energize the team to sell
- Developing the team through training and development opportunities
- Fostering relationships with managers and buyers in own and other departments
You will be responsible for allocating challenging sales targets to each team member and monitoring progress through productivity metrics.
Key accountabilities include:
- Setting, rewarding, and incentivizing the team to achieve targets and coaching them to enhance performance further
- Executing floor moves in line with brand performance and sell-through
- Providing weekly trade feedback highlighting successes, customer feedback, and opportunities for further growth
- Ensuring the team is fully versed with all store services and promotions
- Solving customer issues before they escalate, making best judgment decisions in the interest of the customer and business
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of product availability and shop floor presentation.
Key accountabilities include:
- Conducting daily floor walks to ensure product availability and standards are met
- Preventing stock loss by ensuring all stock is tagged, free from damage, and paperwork is correctly administered
- Preparing and participating in stock takes
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
