We are seeking a dedicated Finance Operations Coordinator to join a prominent international manufacturing firm based in Telford. This role focuses on managing the purchase ledger while also overseeing cash management and treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record purchase invoices and ensure accurate matching with GRN/POD/approved PO, verifying pricing.
  • Compile weekly supplier payment schedules.
  • Execute authorized supplier payments.
  • Process manual payments as required.
  • Regularly reconcile GRNI reports, addressing outstanding items where feasible.
  • Assist in the timely completion of payment practice reporting.
  • Maintain direct debit arrangements.
  • Reconcile accounts with debit balances.
  • Monitor daily bank positions and manage cash postings.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
  • Ensure timely reporting of intercompany netting.
  • Conduct month-end intercompany reconciliations.
  • Accurately report VAT returns in a timely manner.
  • Process and allocate intercompany payments and receipts.
  • Perform monthly recalculations for foreign banks, debtors, and creditors.
  • Actively participate in year-end audit activities.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks as requested by management.

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in purchase ledger management and cash management functions. A strong proficiency in Excel spreadsheets is essential.
