Front of House Manager at German Doner Kebab

Job Type: Full Time / 45 hours per week / 3 weekdays, 2 weekends

Reports To: General Store Manager

Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will ensure exceptional service quality, uphold cleanliness standards in the Front of House, and drive both sales and profitability at German Doner Kebab. Your leadership will inspire the team, fostering a friendly atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Manage and oversee the Front of House operations at a German Doner Kebab location
  • Ensure service quality aligns with company expectations and swiftly address customer concerns
  • Maintain product quality standards and effectively organize Front of House tasks
  • Train and guide team members to deliver outstanding service
  • Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Champion the GDK brand while nurturing a positive workplace culture
  • Conduct Pre- and Post-Shift meetings to establish goals and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure adherence to uniform policies and manage customer relations
  • Oversee shift management, quality assurance, and health and safety protocols
  • Encourage teamwork, productivity, and a positive work environment
  • Complete daily reporting and participate in training or meetings as necessary
  • Collaborate with the General Store Manager to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain inventory control, cleanliness, and achieve financial targets
  • Engage with customers, exemplifying exceptional guest service, and support the team
  • Promote legal compliance and oversee equipment maintenance

  • Customers / Delivery personnel
  • GDK staff
  • Restaurant Franchisee

Required Qualifications:

A Front of House Manager should possess excellent communication abilities, a passion for teamwork, and the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor/Duty Manager in the Food Service sector
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service management
  • Extensive knowledge of customer care principles
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and financial oversight capabilities
