Role Summary:
Randstad is in search of a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in North Tyneside. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with performing evaluations and making vital decisions to safeguard the welfare of children and families.

Primary Duties:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of children and families to ascertain their needs and potential risks.
  • Formulate and execute effective support strategies in partnership with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Carry out home visits and interviews to collect critical information.
  • Collaborate with relevant organizations and professionals to synchronize services and interventions.
  • Supervise and assess cases to ensure the continuous safety and welfare of children.
  • Keep precise and comprehensive records of evaluations, interventions, and case developments.

Qualifications:
  • Must be registered with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within a statutory social work environment, ideally in an assessment capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to manage a complex caseload and perform under pressure.
  • Familiarity with pertinent legislation and policies regarding child protection and safeguarding.
