Job Title: Director. CDM Principal Designer services

Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to join our team as a CDM Principal Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services for projects from c£500k to £500m across various sectors, including design and build, engineering, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for CDM roles and Principal Designer services.
  • Ensure projects comply with CDM 2015.
  • Develop risk responses and plans to eliminate risks on projects.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings as required throughout projects.
  • Near miss and accident investigation where required.
  • Review Construction Phase Plans.
  • Prepare and produce Pre-Construction Information.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a design or construction management related role is preferred.
  • CMaPS status and Chartered Membership of a relevant body i.e. MCIOB RIBA preferred.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
