Operations Director

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to join our team at St John Ambulance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our ambulance operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in our services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage our ambulance operations, ensuring effective patient-focused clinical services are delivered at all times.
- Provide visible, compassionate leadership, coaching, mentoring, and coordination of front-line staff.
- Act as a credible leader for operational staff, motivating, leading, and inspiring staff to achieve excellence.
- Ensure all operational issues are managed in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional peers to ensure our outputs are met with a combined workforce and available resources.
- Develop and implement plans to improve overall operational performance, including patient experience, clinical standards, cost control, health and safety, and other relevant KPIs.
- Represent St John Ambulance at external stakeholder opportunities relative to the role and services.
- Implement a performance management culture, including regular 1-2-1s, performance and development reviews, and team meetings.
- Champion and exemplify compassionate leadership and St John values.
- Engage, involve, and empower St John People in problem-solving and improving the organisation.
