Lead Educator for Resuscitation Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Resuscitation team for a band 8a, Lead nurse for Resuscitation services, reporting directly to the Head of Resuscitation Services (HoRS). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and delivery of paediatric resuscitation training programmes, ensuring compliance with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and Trust standards.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in paediatrics and resuscitation training, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality education and training programmes. They will be responsible for identifying and developing resuscitation improvement strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance all aspects of resuscitation education and clinical skills for all staff.
Main Duties of the JobThe post holder will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering paediatric resuscitation training programmes, ensuring compliance with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and Trust standards.
- Identifying and developing resuscitation improvement strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance all aspects of resuscitation education and clinical skills for all staff.
- Leading on quality, governance, standards of care, clinical audit, benchmarking, performance standards.
- Providing knowledge and support to colleagues within the Trust, inspiring and enabling all staff to strive for excellence in this specialist field.
- Producing regular audit reports on progress of all projects to the Head of Resuscitation Service and other stakeholders.
