Job Summary

We're looking for a highly specialist Cardiac Physiologist to contribute to our invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations, specifically within the Electrophysiology (EP) lab. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with our cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our charitable aims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to service provision within invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations, specifically within the EP lab.
  • Manage Cardiac Cath Lab patients across a range of procedures, including diagnostic intervention, coronary angiography, and PCI.
  • Perform structural heart interventions, including TAVI, PFO ASD closure, and cardiac device implantation.
  • Lead, motivate, educate, and supervise the nursing and multidisciplinary team.
  • Work flexibly across a shift pattern of 8-8pm and participate in an on-call rota to support our service offering.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and registrations.
  • Post-registration experience in Cardiac Physiology, with a focus on Electrophysiology.
  • Competence and independence in Cryo ablation, simple SVT, and other non-3D mapping procedures.
  • Experience in RF ablation and independent user of CARTO for AF, AT, and other complex 3D mapping procedures.
  • Independence in CRM implant and follow-up, including CRT/ICD and HIS/conduction system pacing.
  • IBHRE/BHRS accreditation for EP and CRM (ideally).
