Job Title: Cardiac Physiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cardiac department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic tests, including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions, including medication management and device implantation.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of cardiac physiology.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Cardiac Physiology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac physiology, with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic services.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
