Job Summary:

Magpie Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled HR Administrator to join our team. As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and schedule meetings, taking minutes and ensuring that action items are completed.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with utmost care and confidentiality.
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in the setup and coordination of recruitment and training events.
  • Employee Support: Provide excellent customer service to employees, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Staff Handbooks and Policies: Create and maintain staff handbooks, ensuring that all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Logistics and Administration: Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and update employee holiday and sickness records.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • HR Experience: Previous experience working in an HR role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
