About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Driver Trainer to join our team at Realise. As a Bus Driver Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs to our learners, helping them to achieve their goals and become professional Bus Drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs for Bus Drivers, utilizing a range of teaching methods to suit individual learner preferences.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, providing guidance and support to ensure they achieve all aspects of their apprenticeship, including end-point assessment.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our learners and employers.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality of our training programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Bus Driver training.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Bus driving and training/mentoring.
  • Valid CPC and PCV license.
  • Experience delivering training/mentoring, such as practical Bus driver training, classroom training, CPC training, route learning, and vehicle familiarization.
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (desirable, but not essential).
  • ICT literate.
  • Assessment qualification (TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) (desirable, but not essential).
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) (desirable, but not essential).
