About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our global organization, you'll play a critical role in delivering energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical specification and design for power, load bank, and complex offshore applications.
  • Plan and manage 3rd party and FAT inspections, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external personnel.
  • Carry out offshore tasks, including installation, commissioning, watchkeeping, breakdowns, and surveys.
  • Support Aggreko Service Engineers, providing assistance and development opportunities as needed.
  • Collaborate with QHSE to address offshore safety issues, including written procedures, legislation, and incident investigation.
  • Perform routine servicing of plant, attend onshore breakdowns, and carry out repairs as required.
  • Allocate plant to meet contract requirements, control release and return of plant, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new plant and industry developments.
  • Act as a single point of contact for projects, managing expectations and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge and experience with installation, commissioning, and watchkeeping of offshore equipment packages.
  • Knowledge of DNV or NORSOK standards desirable.
  • Full, clean, and valid driving license required.
  • Ability to work out of hours and be part of the on-call rota.
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications.
