About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our offshore power systems team, you'll be responsible for leading technical specification and design for complex offshore applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical specification and design for power, load bank, and complex offshore applications
  • Plan and manage 3rd party and FAT inspections, liaising with internal and external personnel
  • Carry out offshore tasks, including installation, commissioning, watchkeeping, breakdowns, and surveys
  • Support Aggreko Service Engineers and assist with Service Engineer development
  • Support QHSE regarding offshore safety issues, including written procedures, legislation, and incident investigation
  • Perform routine servicing of plant, attend onshore breakdowns, and carry out repairs
  • Allocate plant to meet contract requirements and control release and return of plant
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new plant and industry developments
  • Act as a single point of contact for projects and manage project expectations
Requirements
  • City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and experience with installation, commissioning, and watchkeeping of offshore equipment packages
  • Knowledge of DNV or NORSOK standards desirable
  • Full, clean, and valid driving license and ability to work out of hours
  • Good level of PC literacy and basic MS Office applications
  • Well-organized and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
