About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical specification and design for complex offshore applications, including power, load bank, and equipment packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical specification and design for complex offshore applications
  • Plan and manage 3rd party and FAT inspections
  • Carry out offshore tasks, including installation, commissioning, and watchkeeping
  • Support Aggreko Service Engineers and assist with Service Engineer development
  • Support QHSE regarding offshore safety issues
  • Carry out routine servicing of plant and attend onshore breakdowns
  • Allocate plant to meet contract requirements
  • Complex fault finding and repair of all power products
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new plant and industry developments
  • Act as a single point of contact for the duration of the project
Requirements
  • City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and experience with the installation, commissioning, and watchkeeping of offshore equipment packages
  • Knowledge of DNV or NORSOK standards desirable
  • Full, clean, and valid driving license
  • Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Well-organized and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
  • Able to manage client expectations when under pressure
