About the Role:
The Finance Manager position at ISR Recruitment Limited presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to join our client's Finance Controllership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services across multiple departments in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership and support to the Director of Controllership and other senior stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial governance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in taxation, financial reporting, and process governance.
Requirements:
- BA or BSc degree in Business or Accounting, with a professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of commercial financial experience, with a strong background in Controllership, Financial Services, Tax, and Treasury.
- Proven expertise in taxation, including PAYE, SAO Controls, and VAT matters.
- Proficiency in Oracle or equivalent ERP systems and Microsoft tools (Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills).
- Background in supporting statutory reporting and internal/external audits.
- S/4 Hanna experience is a distinct advantage.
- Strong pharmaceutical background with regulatory knowledge is preferred.
