Resource Manager

At CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler, we are seeking a skilled Resource Manager to join our team. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will provide strategic guidance on resource management, ensuring optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and employee morale.
Key Responsibilities:- Tactical Resource Management: Allocate and move resources to optimize performance, customer satisfaction, and employee morale, engaging key stakeholders as necessary.
- Onboarding and Mobilisation: Engage with new hires to accelerate mobilisation onto projects and provide the best possible employee experience.
- Productive & Customer Funded Utilisation (CFU) Performance Management: Maximise CFU while supporting other productive activity with available resources, driving activity on stranded resources, and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Directorate Capacity Demand & Supply Management: Act as the 'bridge' between capacity planning and BU Ops teams to test analysis, validate planning assumptions, and mitigate risk of over/under supply.
- Cross Directorate Optimisation & Escalation Management: Facilitate x-business employee mobility, own loan agreements and extensions, and manage internal and x-BU escalation.
- Experience of operational resourcing in Professional Services or similar matrix organisations.
- Experience of working in Defence and/or National Security industries.
- Significant experience of technology sectors, including IT, Software Development, Cyber, AI & ML, Data Science, and Systems Engineering professions.
- Able to demonstrate comfort with complexity and working with often ambiguous requirements.
- Regarded as SME within stakeholder community and leads on defining approach to operational resourcing within the BU.
