Your primary responsibility will be to boost registrations and encourage ongoing engagement through compelling, targeted marketing initiatives for the Argos and Sainsbury's brands, along with the broader Sainsbury's group.
Key Responsibilities
- Grasp the overarching strategy and facilitate the execution of activities that cultivate customer loyalty and bolster overall business performance.
- Identify, test, and implement innovative activity concepts and mechanisms to enhance and refine the loyalty program.
- Collaborate with relevant agencies and internal teams to brief, develop, and execute plans across all channels, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Partner closely with the Analytics team to provide clear briefs and ensure precise forecasting, customer targeting, data selections, and analysis.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach in all communications, aligning content with significant events in the customer journey.
- Present campaign strategies and performance insights to stakeholders in appropriate forums, fostering support and comprehension of business objectives.
- Assist the loyalty manager with the development of our loyalty strategy and any ad-hoc projects as necessary.
- Proficient knowledge of CRM and loyalty marketing initiatives.
- Proven experience in the complete delivery of direct marketing campaigns from inception to execution.
- Strong creative and communication abilities, with a solid understanding of proposition development, content strategy, creative execution, channel integration, and brand guidelines.
- Comfortable interpreting and analyzing data analytics, enabling effective management of insights and recommendations based on outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, adept at handling multiple timelines and processes while reviewing costs and performance to ensure operational excellence in campaign delivery.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle several campaigns concurrently.
- Effective influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to convey results and insights in a manner that is easily comprehensible to all stakeholders.
- Achieve the established customer and commercial performance metrics.
- Ensure accurate forecasting with expenses remaining within budget.
- Meet campaign KPIs, including sales, ROI, open rates, redemption rates, and points issuance.
- Exhibit impeccable budget management, taking responsibility for prudent spending and issuing loyalty points.
- Deliver campaigns punctually and within budget, with rigorous quality assurance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with all stakeholders, particularly focusing on fostering excellent collaboration with the analytics team.
- Implementation of budgetary decisions.
- Decisions regarding content and creative development.
- Targeting and offer mechanics decisions.
- Access to existing and new CRM and loyalty agencies and their respective teams.
- Collaboration with cross-functional Sainsbury's teams, including Marketing, Trading, IT, Legal, Finance, and Procurement.
- Analysts as part of the 'Power of 2' initiative.
- Support from the Loyalty Marketing Manager.
