CAMHS Crisis Team Practitioner Role

The Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Crisis Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to young people and their families/carers who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans for young people in crisis.
- Lead the delivery of care for young people under home treatment, taking on the role of lead professional.
- Assess, interpret, and implement treatment plans for children and young people's conditions, developing and evaluating specialist packages of care.
- Make informed decisions to improve treatment outcomes for children, young people, and their families, enhancing resilience and recovery, and reducing risks to themselves or others.
- Experience in a variety of disciplines, including nursing, social work, and occupational therapy.
- Ability to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Own transport or suitable alternative, as dependence on public transport is not suitable for this role.
- Annual leave days and bank holidays (dependent on service).
