About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at Alstom. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers across various projects and sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on EHS regulations and standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in EHS.
  • Experience in a similar EHS role, preferably in the rail or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical skills.
