Empowering Children and Young People to Overcome Learning Barriers

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team in a Primary School setting. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children who are struggling with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with emotional regulation challenges and learning barriers
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and improve academic outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support package
  • Providing individual and group support to students, including behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children struggling with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations
  • Positive attitude when working with children
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm
