We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School. As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with emotional regulation challenges and learning barriers in a Primary School setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and well-being.
  • Provide individualised support to children to help them overcome learning barriers and develop emotional regulation skills.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional learning.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs.
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to supporting children's learning and well-being.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm.
