Empowering Children and Young People to Overcome Learning Barriers

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in managing their emotions and overcoming learning barriers
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop effective strategies for supporting children
  • Provide individualized support to children to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm
