Empowering Children and Young People to Overcome Learning Barriers

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with emotional regulation challenges and learning barriers in a Primary School setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and well-being
  • Provide individualized support to children to help them overcome learning barriers and develop social and emotional skills
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children who struggle with emotional regulation and/or Special Educational Needs
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations
  • Positive attitude and a passion for supporting children's learning and well-being
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm
