We are currently partnering with a global manufacturing company to appoint a Human Resources Business Partner for their operations. This is a full-time permanent role paying up to £50k, and will be servicing a headcount of approximately 450 staff within a unionized environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Employee Relations support to the site, including:

  • Disciplinary procedures, investigations, grievances, sickness, absence, and performance management
  • Support with sickness and occupational health, including return to work interviews
  • Collaboration with Trade Unions as necessary
  • Coaching and supporting managers in best practices for employee engagement and development
  • Leading on employee engagement initiatives to develop business needs
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and preparing reports as required
  • Reviewing and improving HR processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Guiding, mentoring, and coaching a HR Advisor

Key skills and experience required:

  • Employee relations expertise
  • Employee engagement and development
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Coaching and influencing skills

Working hours and environment:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • 5 days on site
