Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter to join our team at the Chinoiserie Lounge. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all guests are correctly and efficiently logged and processed in a courteous manner.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu and service styles.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and professionally, ensuring all information is correct.
  • Be fully conversant with table lay-up and mise-en-place prior to, during, and after service.
  • Inform supervisors of all guest comments and requirements that cannot be resolved immediately.
  • Be familiar with and implement relevant legislation, such as liquor licensing.
  • Ensure strict control is adhered to when receiving and returning keys and while in possession.
  • Report any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or safety hazards immediately.
  • Ensure a high degree of personal skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and positive attitude.
  • Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
  • High level of accuracy in overseeing daily operations, inspections, and reports, with an eye for luxury standards.
  • Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned by management.
  • Assist in maximizing productivity for the Department.
  • Ensure strict control is adhered to when receiving and returning keys and while in possession.
  • Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or hotel.
