Regulatory Compliance Administrator

This newly established position has emerged due to the expansion of the organization and its compliance division.

You will oversee the administrative functions within the Compliance team and provide support across its various sectors, including UK advisory, Regulatory, Financial Crime, and International Advisory.

This role is designed to be generalist in nature, offering significant exposure to Compliance practices and an opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Management of essential compliance records

Facilitation of critical compliance communications from external sources to broker contacts throughout the organization

  • Sending, following up, and compiling information for diverse compliance activities

Handling complaints, ensuring proper escalation when necessary

Administration for new hires and departures

Oversight of US licensing organizations, including management of outsourced service providers.

Proactively enhance and maintain the Compliance section and documentation on the company intranet.

Assist in the preparation of relevant BMS board reports for upper management.

Support the maintenance of internal compliance systems and contribute to ongoing improvements.

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
  • Support during regulatory inspections.

Various administrative tasks (collecting signatures from executives, scheduling meetings, taking notes)

Provide assistance with regulatory and Lloyd's reporting, including managing the business calendar and notifying the team of upcoming deadlines.

Required Experience

  • Prior administrative experience in an office setting (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with compliance processes (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Exposure to the London Insurance market (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

  • Proficient IT skills as required
  • A keen interest in compliance and regulatory matters within the financial services sector, along with a willingness to learn and develop in this area
