Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a highly skilled Applications Manager to join our team. As an Applications Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams, and technical support teams in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical support and sparring partner for customers, sales teams, and technical support teams in the region.
  • Support visits to customers for projects and troubleshooting, including support during commissioning/service.
  • Assist in ensuring Danfoss products are being properly handled and installed onsite.
  • Provide system design support for contractors and consultants.
  • Stay updated regarding relevant market trends and gather market and competitor intelligence.
  • Deliver product and application training to groups of customers, sales or technical support people either online or face-to-face.
  • Provide insights, input, and market knowledge to new product developments, launches, and sales support material.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or qualification in refrigeration or a related industry would be an advantage.
  • Detailed experience within the Industrial Refrigeration industry or similar, including domestic or commercial heating/cooling applications, or demonstrating an advanced hands-on level of competence on complex refrigeration or air-conditioning systems.
  • A solid understanding of industrial refrigeration systems, including how to work with Ammonia and CO2 applications.
  • Commercial understanding and flair.
  • Capable of managing own time and to work to tight customer deadlines.
  • Fluency in English.
