About the Role

Our Support Practitioners support individuals within their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing daily living. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Support Plans through ongoing reviews to meet the individuals' physical and emotional needs.
  • Providing support with minimal personal care needs, mobility, medication, and dietary requirements, respecting choice and dignity at all times.
  • Contributing to enhancing daily living, which may include domestic duties, shopping, and social activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with Highland Home Carers policies and procedures.
  • Completing the Highland Home Carers Induction and ongoing training program.
  • Attending job-related training or review meetings as requested.
  • Adhering to Highland Home Carers policies and procedures.
  • Understanding Risk Assessments in relation to the role within Highland Home Carers.
