Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve site and individual goals.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory regulations and ensure Rygor and Mercedes-Benz quality and service standards are met.
  • Control cost management for the department.
  • Work with site managers to ensure a joined-up, positive approach to teamwork and customer service.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to uphold company values and ensure correct processes and policies are followed.
  • Ensure site and departmental KPIs are met through robust leadership and a hands-on approach.
  • Lead and develop apprentices.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate employees to ensure high-quality staff.
  • Establish business objectives and personal development goals with employees and monitor performance against agreed targets.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers.
  • Perform analysis to identify areas of weakness and implement targeted marketing activity.
  • Ensure all health and safety policies are followed and upheld.
  • Promote the development of your team.
Requirements
  • Extensive motor industry experience in an Aftersales position at management level.
  • Knowledge of the operational running of a workshop and business administration.
  • Thorough knowledge of customer and market analysis, marketing initiatives, and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in people management, particularly in terms of achievement through teams.
  • Enthusiasm and continuous improvement of product knowledge.
  • Desire to achieve the highest standard of personalized customer care.
  • Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment.
  • Computer literacy and confidence using technology.
